“Orange with lime green gives you the same excitement as red and green but doesn’t look out of place
after Christmas,” Carfoftis says. He replaced the red ribbon on the door wreath, above, with an orange one to match the fruit-filled
urns. “ It still looks welcoming but not so holiday-specific.” Bright green limes fill another wreath that decorates an outdoor table,
opposite top left.
Two-toned magnolia leaves,
opposite top right,
carry on the orange-and-green scheme. Boughs, branches, and
pomegranates ornament the entrance to the greenhouse,
opposite bottom.
Carloftis sprays all the evergreens and magnolia
branches with antidesiccant spray to keep them perky through winter. tfb
